Our History: From a Double Garage to the Industrial Brand UNITEX®
The Roots: Craftsmanship and Pioneering Spirit
My journey began in a home where hard work and technical understanding were part of everyday life. In the late 1970s, my parents started a home-based business for a renowned German household appliance manufacturer. Back then, dust bags for vacuum cleaners and floor polishers were still high-quality textile products. I grew up in this world of fabrics, filters, and sewing machines.
Courage in Challenging Times
At the end of the 90s, my family took over the operations of their former main contractor in the Enzkreis region. Starting in a double garage and a basement, 1998 presented an enormous challenge: a collapsing market and a severe lack of orders.
When I took over responsibility in 2002, I stood at a turning point. With the courage to change and a deep drive for exploration, I began researching opportunities beyond traditional household appliances. I immersed myself in material science and sought solutions for the trades—a sector that demanded genuine innovation and quality.
Growth and Specialization
What began in 2002 with my first company founding and a focus on the trades developed into an established industry force, marked by numerous innovations and a leading market position.

2008: Founding of Universal Filtertechnik & Handelsgesellschaft.

2009: Relocation to the Zollernalbkreis (Haigerloch).

2012: Acquisition and expansion of our own commercial property in the Freudenstadt district (Empfingen), featuring over 500 sqm of production space.

2020: Founding of UNIVERSAL Beratungs- und Verwaltungsgesellschaft UG.

2021: Founding of UNITEX Filter y Protection S.L. (Canary Islands).
UNITEX® Today: Consulting, Safety & Environment
After years of growth and a strategic realignment in 2021, we focus today under the UNITEX® brand on what we do best: consulting, development, and equipping companies for clean, dust-free, and environmentally conscious work.
Today, the Universal Beratungs- und Verwaltungsgesellschaft represents the values I have stood for for over two decades: occupational safety, innovative strength, and the protection of people and the environment.
